While most folks are still stress-free and making the most of lazy vacation times at this time in July, the Athens art scene is tough at get the job done.

Art corporations around Athens have worked via the summer time, and several exhibits and shows are coming to the town in the coming weeks. The Crimson & Black compiled a listing of what visual arts to glimpse out for about the summer time and into the fall.

Athens Institute for Present-day Artwork (ATHICA)

ATHICA declared two new exhibits that will be coming to its destinations this summer.

Regional artist Greg Benson’s latest paintings will be on exhibit at ATHICA’s Cine gallery starting on July 5. Benson claimed these oil landscape paintings doc his efforts to allow go of ideas this kind of as expectations and command, in accordance to a June push launch.
