Van Buren High School principal Eddie Tipton is a real gift to the community. The wrapping that most persons see and recognize is the committed, university student-centered administrator, who for in excess of 30 years has inspired college students from all walks of everyday living to increase by themselves as they changeover into becoming productive citizens in our culture. “When I was a child,” Tipton remembers, “we could not afford to pay for sketch pads or charcoal pencils, none of that stuff.” He remembers finding pencils and, with out paper, opening up previous paper baggage or Kleenex bins to attract, employing whichever he could uncover. He did not use paints until he was in artwork course in large college because he couldn’t find the money for the paint.
