MILFORD, CT—The Milford Arts Council (MAC) introduced that 4 neighborhood pupil artists – all substantial school graduates – have been named the recipients of MAC Endowment Scholarships dependent on their desire and expertise in the arts and academic achievement, MAC reported in a launch.
The college students and their moms satisfied Thursday at the MAC’s downtown Milford venue, 40 Railroad Ave. S., to network and share their foreseeable future ambitions.
Two pupils from John Regulation Superior University and 1 apiece from Platt Tech and Foran Substantial attained this year’s grants, which are funded by the generosity of benefactors.

The recipients of the endowments are:
- Kailani Banasik, a graduate of Platt Tech, who will be attending Montserrat College or university of Art in Salem, Massachusetts. Banasik will be majoring in illustration, and explained she hopes to master far more procedures like 3D and CADD though in school.
“I normally grew up with artwork,” Banasik said. “When I was young, my dad did airbrushing, so I guess it is just in my blood.”
- Maria Abruzzo, who graduated from Jonathan Regulation Significant School, programs to key in visual artwork at the University of Hartford. She hopes to pursue a occupation in illustration.
- Sarah Paulus also graduated from Jonathan Regulation High University. She is headed to the Savannah (GA.) College or university of Artwork & Layout, the place she will important in images and graphic style. Paulus claimed she has been an avid photographer due to the fact she bought her initially digital camera at the age of 13.
- Joshua Bernardo is a Foran Superior College graduate who will be headed to Wellesley or the University of the Arts. He ideas to examine animation.
