A new online exhibition showcasing performs by Chatham County schoolkids is now accessible for viewing.
The Links, Inc., Savannah-Chatham County Public Colleges, and the Town of Savannah is presenting the 20th Once-a-year New Beginnings Youth Art Exhibition. The exhibition characteristics Savannah Chatham County center-and high-faculty students’ artworks, developed primarily based on the concept “Visual Artwork in a Virtual Globe.”
A virtual reception for the exhibit was held Feb. 23, and many speakers congratulated the staff of instructors, sponsors, and artists who produced the celebration feasible.
Between the digital attendees were Savannah Mayor Van Johnson, SCCPSS Superintendent Ann Levett, and users of The Backlinks, together with sponsors and other supporters.
“It’s a great honor to chair this competition in conjunction with Black Heritage Thirty day period,” reported Carol Bell of The Links, Inc. “We are amazed with the talent of the students and thank them for sharing their get the job done with us.”
Rosemary Dodson, Program Coordinator for Visible Arts for Savannah-Chatham County General public Schools, managed the opposition and established the virtual show to showcase art from our middle and superior college pupils.
“This was a one of a kind 12 months,” stated Dotson, “and we had to come up with a way to share all the work in a virtual atmosphere. The show is interactive and participating.”
