As a LEAD INVESTIGATIONS CASE ANALYST (TRAINER) you will be responsible for the following duties:
- The development, planning, delivery, documentation and tracking of technical training sessions, training materials, job aides, presentations and manuals to ensure the readiness and effectiveness of AFLC employees.
- Assessing/determining, defining and documenting training needs, and analyzing, designing, developing, delivering and evaluating the AFLC training curriculum; preparing and managing career training paths and career development plans.
- Providing support and guidance to employees in need of remedial training, such as staff on a Personal Improvement Plan, and participate as subject matter expert as needed in conducting, participating in and/or monitoring special projects.
Occasional travel – You may be expected to travel for this position.

Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.
Specialized experience required for this position is: Must encompass in-depth and comprehensive knowledge of DCSA’s investigative program policy and procedures. Also, the incumbent must have the ability to apply this knowledge in various ways, such as, reviewing work products, developing new processes, policies, procedures, or instructions for internal or external training programs related to background investigations. The work involves analysis, recommendations, creation, development and implementation of training initiatives and employee development.

DCSA, as a newly designated Defense Agency is undergoing a multi-year transformation that includes a significant expansion of predecessor agencies’ authorities and responsibilities. Mission accretion and associated growth in personnel and resources requires deliberate coordination and planning across operations and support activities to achieve effective outcomes while simultaneously establishing and integrating new activities, initiatives and projects. The new organization will be comprised of nearly 13,000 government and contractor personnel operation throughout the United States and overseas supporting stakeholders across the federal government.
