Higher EAST Facet, NY — Two concurrent occasions will hit Madison Avenue this weekend: an yearly gallery stroll and an art exhibition that is brightening store home windows.
Madison Avenue Art & Style Weekend began Friday and proceeds by means of Sunday, sponsored by the avenue’s business advancement district. It includes window shows in 8 distinctive storefronts with approximately 100 pieces of artwork developed by learners from the University of Visual Arts.
Meanwhile, the Madison Avenue Spring Gallery Wander will be held Saturday, with 38 galleries opening their doors for tours and conversations of their present exhibitions.

Artwork & Design Weekend
Dubbed “Windows Open to the Sky,” the window displays adorn previously vacant windows, which have been donated by their landlords in order to be part of the exhibition.
