“Art in the Park” is coming to the town common and Memorial Park Aug. 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
“The inspiration for Art in the Park was to deliver the artists of this great local community collectively to fulfill the Sterling community in an uplifting celebration,” Sterling Cultural Council Chair Rosanne Mapp stated. “It has been my aspiration to deliver an ‘Art in the Park’ event to the town of Sterling. Regretably, COVID acquired in the way final year.”
Artwork in the Park will welcome and showcase all artists of any age.
“We hope to persuade not only Sterling artists but encompassing cities to be aspect of this undertaking,” Mapp reported, adding that they will have table locations for hire.
Mapp has been a member of the Cultural Council for 5 a long time, two as chair.
