Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition names Stillwater artist as Pupil Fellow | Information

The Oklahoma Visible Arts Coalition has selected Stillwater’s Claire Dabney, a senior at Oklahoma Point out College, as a person of two college student fellowship award winners.

OVAC introduced the awards before this week. Norman’s Jason Cytacki and Tulsa’s Skip Hill were announced as Visual Arts Fellows, even though University of Oklahoma artist Dimani Barzbashi joined Dabney as a pupil fellow.

“The Fellowship and Student Fellowship Awards honor these artists’ achievements and present financial aid for visible artists here in Oklahoma,” suggests OVAC’s Government Director, Krystle Kaye. “We are so very pleased of these artists and we seem forward to the upcoming chapter in their occupations.”

Dabney, who is getting into her remaining semester at OSU, functions in images, oil paint and fiber arts.
