Place learners recipients of year-stop arts awards at Sterling College

Salina resident Alicia DeHaan receives one of two communication scholarships from communication/media faculty member Todd Vogt at Sterling College.

Salina resident Alicia DeHaan and Bennington resident Shara Shepard both of those gained calendar year-finish arts awards at Sterling Higher education.

DeHaan obtained the two the Moxley Scholarship in Mass Communication and the Jim Mosher Memorial Scholarship in Interaction. DeHaan is finishing her sophomore year at Sterling the place she has been concerned with choir, interaction, and theatre. She was showcased in the cast of the musicals “Carousel” and “Catch Me If You Can” as very well as the engage in “Sense and Sensibilty” this yr.

Bennington resident Shara Shepard recieves a band award from director Larry Brownlee during the Sterling College’s recent Arts Awards night.

Shepard acquired the Symphonic Band Servant Leadership Award for contributions each band, jazz band, and the flute trio.
