ASHLAND, Ohio — Each individual spring, the Ashland University Coburn Gallery hosts the Senior Art and Design Exhibition showcasing the capstone knowledge for graduating artwork majors.
Bringing alongside one another artwork made by graduating seniors in the Office of Artwork and Layout, the 2021 Senior Art and Style Exhibition will open up Thursday, April 8 with an opening reception from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Coburn Art Gallery found in the Middle for the Arts on the Ashland University campus.
Social distancing will be practiced in the gallery, making it possible for teams of 10 or much less at a time throughout the opening. Masks are needed.
The senior awards will be announced at 5:30 p.m. at the April 8 reception and on the gallery’s Fb page.

Senior Artwork Exhibition artists are Noah Rau, Harlie Gregory, Taylor Mowry, Hannah Osborn, Tristan Peterman, Callandra Roddy and Aliya Ratliff.
Ratliff, from Tipp Metropolis, will be graduating with a Bachelor of High-quality Arts, with a concentration in Illustration. Aliya Ratliff graduated from Tippecanoe High College although simultaneously getting an Associate’s diploma in Liberal Arts from Sinclair Group University.
Ratliff is the daughter of Sylvia Adams and has participated in the Artwork Club, as well as doing work for both of those the art department and AU leisure expert services. Following graduating, she programs to go on building artwork targeted in illustration.
