Sierra Hopp, like many of her classmates, is searching ahead to her ultimate calendar year of substantial college and senior photographs. On the other hand, Hopp is energized to be behind the digicam. Hopp, 17, has presently released a pictures enterprise and this summer time, her first solo artwork exhibit is on display at Custer County Courthouse Art Gallery.

Hopp, of Black Hawk, is completing her junior calendar year at Swift City Stevens Substantial College, in which she’s active in monitor and cross nation. She’s also a musician who has played the piano for about 10 years and has performed the trumpet considering the fact that fifth grade.

“I’ve normally been creative, but I truly got into it in high faculty,” claimed Hopp, who attempted pottery and painting classes, sketching and sewing when she was escalating up and has painted murals on her bedroom partitions.

She also appreciated using photos with her parents’ electronic digital camera, and sooner or later her grandparents gave Hopp a birthday reward of her possess digital point-and-shoot digicam.

“I started out recognizing how significantly I liked photography and I experienced a talent for it,” Hopp reported.

By the time she was about 13, Hopp mentioned she and her mother were generating options for Hopp to commence a organization, Sierra SD Images.
