UAFS Gallery of Artwork & Design will present “Highlights from the Long-lasting Selection: Functions on Paper,” featuring the most recent addition to its everlasting assortment: An artist’s e book by Jo Stealey. The inaugural exhibition of “Process/Encounter/Place” will open June 1, and will feature the will work of nearby artists Mary Elkins, Jarrod Cluck and Owen Buffington. A reception celebrating the partnership and set up of the galleries will be held Thursday, June 16, alongside the regular Fort Smith Jazz Jam at The Bakery District. Doors will open up at 5 p.m. with songs beginning at 6:30 p.m. The exhibition will run by way of Sept. 18.

Both exhibitions will be free and open up to the public.
