LCU designs art exhibit, sale

The Division of Visual Art at Lubbock Christian University is keeping an artwork exhibit and art sale. The exhibit and sale have several functions of artwork that are previous holdings of the university that have been designated to be offered, in accordance to a news launch from the university.

Lubbock Christian University is selling 13 paintings, with appraised values ranging from $450 up to $19,000.

Proceeds from the sale will advantage the LCU artwork software.

“The elevated resources will concentrate on pupil scholarships, as perfectly as needed facility and gear improvements to boost pupil ordeals and discovering. The Artwork Division is hunting ahead to expanding place for studio classes and senior studios, to accommodate requirements for improved enrollment and degree specialization,” said Ronelle Howell, who serves as an assistant professor and the method coordinator for Visible Arts in the Interaction/Fantastic Arts Office at LCU.

LCU's art sale is ongoing through Oct. 1, with the paintings available for viewing in the Ling Center for Academic Achievement (CAA), Gallery 2.

There are 13 paintings for sale, with appraised values ranging from $450 up to $19,000.

“The exhibit and sale incorporate some exciting items that will attractiveness to a range of interests. Any affordable features will be thought of for the artwork, as mentioned values are only appraisals,” Howell claimed.

The general public is welcome to stop by the LCU campus to watch the artwork through any of the subsequent situations:

Funds raised through the sale of the paintings at LCU will benefit the university's art program.

• Artwork for Art’s Sale Exhibit: through Oct. 1

• Open up for viewing: Monday via Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday, 8 a.m. to midday.

• Reception: Thursday, Sept. 30, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

• Locale: Ling Center for Tutorial Achievement (CAA), Gallery 2

In addition to the Artwork for Art’s Sale exhibit, there are a number of pupil art exhibits heading on con-at this time in the LCU Art Studio Gallery, the Pioneer Gallery in the College Library, and Centre for Tutorial Achievement (CAA) Gallery 1.
